Motion Chat

Community Guidelines

Last updated October 3, 2026

E-Motion Chat exists so people going through something hard can find someone who gets it. Everyone here is a peer. These rules keep it safe and kind.

Be kind and listen first

Not allowed

Meetups (E-Motion Plus)

Meet only in busy public places, tell a friend where you'll be, never share your home address, and leave any time you feel uncomfortable.

Enforcement

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable words are filtered automatically, and anyone can report a Motion, profile or message, hide a Motion, or block a user. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and remove the account that posted it. We may also end chats or permanently ban accounts. Serious threats may be reported to authorities. If you think we made a mistake, email emotionchatsupport@forwardonlyllc.com.

If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself: E-Motion Chat is peer support, not an emergency service. In the US, call or text 988. Elsewhere, find a free, confidential line at findahelpline.com. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
